Alexandra Saraiva (Vila Nova de Gaia, 1972) Aruqueta (1995) and Master in Arquitura (2008) by the University Lusíada do Porto. Doctorate in architecture from the University of Coruña (2011). Professor at the University Lusíada do Porto, since 1996. Director of Master’s Thesis in Architecture. Researcher (2007-2015) at the Research Center for Architecture, Territory, and Design (CITAD), with articles published in the context of international conferences and scientific magazines. In 2015, it integrates Dinâmia’cet Iul-Fiscte, as a Postdoctoral Researcher of the FCT (SFRH / BPD / 111869/2015) under the supervision of Professor Paul of the investigation of «the monumentality reviewed-Hestnes Ferreira, between European and North American timeless classicism (1960-2018)«. The proposed research plan conforms to the general research strategy of Dinâmia’cet-Iul, integrating cultural heritage and European identity in reflexive societies. More specifically, Europe in a changing world: inclusive, innovative and reflective societies. Emphasizing cultural heritage and European identity, memory, identity, integration and interaction, and cultural translation, research on the architectural work of Heres Ferreira. Since September 2018, I have been part of the CICA Group (Documentation and Research Center in Architectural Culture), of the Marques da Silva Foundation (FIMS) of the University of Porto, for documentary treatment, of the Raúl Hestnes Ferreira Archive. I collaborated in the processes of incorporation and preinventory of the collections of the architects Manuel Graça Dias, in October 2019, Manuel Marques de Aguiar, in December 2019, and Carlos Carvalho Dias, in June 2020.
