ABOUT ARCHIVOZ

Archivoz is a free online magazine, international in scope for the general public, interested in archives and document management. Born in June 2017 as a collaborative and voluntary project, its team includes professionals from all over the world.

The journal aims to disseminate news development interests, experiences and best practices for those interested in archives and information management.

HOW WE WORK

Our team analyses the worldwide scenario to create, and publish articles of interest. It also takes into consideration the readers opinions and ideas on specific subjects. The magazine has specific areas to promote and disseminate activities or projects done by institutions (archives, museums, libraries…).

ARCHIVOZ AND SEDIC

Over time, the magazine has become a wide-ranging informative medium within the archives sector. It broadcasts opinions and experiences of professionals from all over the world and generates a space for collaboration.

Since November 2019 (when we signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Society for Scientific Documentation and Information (SEDIC) Archivoz Magazine has been published in Madrid by SEDIC. However, the management team, the editorial team, the operation and the collaborative spirit of the journal remain unchanged. I hope you find it appealing and that you will actively participate by reading or writing in Archivoz.
